I am thinking about getting a set of these for my S14. Both of my lower control arms have cracked where the tension rod bolts into them since I installed energy suspension poly bushings in the tension rods back in 2001. So I'm thinking they might be causing the problems with the cracking of the LCA's. Well I was wondering if anyone has been using them for sometime and what they think of them. Any problems, noise issues, clunking, etc.. and how much rougher is the front end than having polyurethane bushings. I don't do any racing, its just a daily car. Let me know what ur thoughts are.

thanks

weird man. it's possible that the poly bushings are putting that stress in the lcas but I haven't seen them cause any cracking in my whiteline that I've had about as long as you've had the energy bushings. You go over any rough potholes or speedbumps or declines at a higher than reasonable speed lately?

If you don't do any racing, I'd find a cheapo set of stock tension rods and replace the bushings with either stiffer rubber bushings from nismo or get some oem ones.

LCA cracking is commonly associated with the OE TC Arms using poly bushings

SPL and Battle Version both make great TC arms that will do you right
