Ah I need to upgrade then. Guess I'll put the old ones on my other car.

Was it the Nico member 574240sx who had a issue with the SPL tension rods? Something about the locknut undoing itself every so often and he would have to re-tighten it. I'm kind of leery about that, since the roads around here are awful and i could see that happening to me.I really want to buy some since my current s13 has some beat ones, and even though my dead s13 has new OEM rods that i can salvage, I'd like to go a step up. Plus being able to adjust your caster more accurately is nice. One thing that always goes awry on my car is caster settings.

That was on the pro tie rod ends. I ended up getting a new set of shanks and nuts free from SPL and that has seemed to solve the problem so far but I havn't been to any drift days since. The TC rods are great so far but they max out around 8.5deg of caster if some people do prefer more caster for drifting.

i have been running the SPL ver 1 T rods since 9/04. I have had no problems at all with it undoing itself.

The only reason my TC rod cracked is because I hit the sidewalk...

I have a LOT of SPL stuff on my car nad I can vouch that they have top notch products and their cst srvc is awesome as well.

I LOVE SPL! lol

Ahhhh. Nevermind. I have Tein outer/inner rods, and i'm not using the optional steering-angle nut (rods have yet to be taken off the dead s13) so that won't be an issue for me. I don't drift, but my car does see autocross days occasionally (since my car being totalled haven't gone to more than 2 this year )

Thanks for the info, I'll be going with the hot SPL t/c rods then

I plan on getting more parts after my turbo upgrade.
