i just had a pair of spl tension rods installed, and ill be putting on a set of coilovers before i get it aligned. i noticed that the joint on each tension rod is twisted differently, should i make them the same before getting it aligned? if so, should they be untwisted (straight up and down) while the car is sitting on the ground, or jacked up? thanks for any help

They are made to twist... so you're all good.

Make sure you have a somewhat equal number of threads showing on both sides of the center piece.

both tension rods have about 10 threads showing, one is even with 5 on each side, but the other is 7 and 3. can i jack the car up, loosen both lock nuts, and just turn the center part to even them, or will that change the length?

I'd say as long as the one with 5 showing isn't the aluminum side you are good.

on the rod that is uneven, there are about 7 threads showing at the heim joint end, and about 3 showing on the other end

That should be ok... but if you get a chance. Correct it.
