I installed a Findanza short shifter a while back and just used the plastic bushings that came with it. I was satisfied with the upgrade, but felt it could be better with some better bushings. So while ordering some misc. OEM parts from Z1, I had them throw in some SPL Bronze Shifter Bushings. There is a pretty big difference between the regular plastic bushings and the bronze bushings. With the plastic bushings, the shifter felt notchy. But with the new bronze bushings in there, it feels a lot smoother and feels more precise. Definitely worth the $25. And of course, I took pics. :D

This is why taking the shifter out sucks so bad. You have to hold one side of the bolt with a wrench and put a ratchet on the other side to loosen it. I always get cuts on the back of my hand after taking the shifter out.

And here are just some comparison pics.

FYI, I posted a "How-To" thread on removing the shifter if anyone needs help.

Good choice I went with bronze bushings a few years ago as well.
