About 5 months ago someone I know ordered a full cars worth of SPL arms and the non-heim joint ends appeared to have the holes done with a plasma cutter and not drilled. To be honest, they looked awesome until that and that part looked like total crap. I have asked a few vendors to take pics with no luck. I dont want uneven, oval, some elongated holes if I am spending a grand. So if you own or have a set of their arms tell me if this was also the case. If it is I am going to parts shop max instead I am only interested in arms where you can lock down the setting and GKtech as nice as they seem dont have this.

You talking about this end?

Most definitely round. I don't think them being s14 arms would make a difference right?

I can't imagine SPL would burn out the hole when it's easier/cheaper/quicker to drill it properly, or even just punch a sheet's worth of the mounts and have them bent on a break. I would have your friend get in touch with SPL and get replacements, for the price of the arms, that's pretty bad.

Did he buy the arms direct or get them second hand?

Same here, nothing but quality, I have tension rods, toe and camber arms, solid diff and sub frame bushings, the eccentric lock out washers, and as soon as finances allow I will be ordering more.

Sounds like your buddy probably got one that slipped through the cracks.
