spit and sputters

I need help! i have a 95 240. it is started to miss and miss hard mostly under load, it almost feel like water in the tank but the fuel is fine. this is what i have changed, spark plugs, wires, coil-distributor, fuel filter, cap and rotor. something is odd everytime i take my car for a test ride 1 and 3 cylinder spark plug wire boots are up 2inches.

push them down hard, if that doesnt work, buy new plugs and wires, and make sure that they stay down.

Something to check on the wires that are coming up: shine a flashlight down in the plug holes. If you can't see the hex nut part of the spark plugs, the rubber from your old wires is stuck on there. It's a pretty common problem. It happened to me and I used a fillet knife to pry the rubber pieces up.

i think i fixed it. i added 2 extra ground straps, it has not messed up all DAY:)
