If you guys read that first page of that thread....he said that his hand was "sucked" in....he didn't actually stick his finger in the turbo. High spinning turbo = high vacuum.

turbines usually spin at 7 to 15k rpm right? I wonder how much drag you'd feel from it

I wouldn't be stupid enough to put my hand near a turbo while the car is on, much less while the damn thing is spooling. That is just plain stupidity.

Way to avoid getting your hand getting sucked into a turbo:Keep the #($* away from it.

yeah thats what I'm saying, but I don't think it would be sucking in enough air to actually pull your hand into it unless your hand was extremely close and you were not being at all careful.
