i spilled about 400ml of soy drink on my driver seat today (don't ask me why.. i was just stupid..)...and i didn't wipe it off until 2-3 minutes after since i coudln't find a towel or tissues in the parking lot..

do you guys think this is a big problem?? i am a bit concerned that the drink might've sunk down to the inside of my driver seat....is it gonna grow molds in it???? what's the best way for me to clean up the mess???...

i have poured about half bottle of those leather-protect liquid on my driver seat right after i go home but that's not until 2, 3 hours after the incident happened and i dunno if that'd even work at all.....

any suggestions ????... ...

UM....MtDew FTW!!!!

I feel your pain...I was forced to dump a whole cup of McAllisters sweet tea in my passenger floor board (flew from center console cup holder) when some dumb *** kids pulled out in front of me and I was forced to see just how good my Brembo's actually worked.....little punks, bah! I was pissed. But tea was much easier to clean than I'm sure your "Soy" drink is.

Robin,

I can't help you with this. I never had a spill on my seat. I had spill on me but my seat survived.

I would try my heated seat for sure. It can be screwed up. But that's about it. I don't think you want to go that far and take the cover off. It is a hell off a job for a spill.

They got the point you should switch to some real drink. I personally a Coke fan but any bubble just do fine. It is easier on your upholstery too.

04G356MT BTW you got me. I was reading your response and like WTF he is in a bad mood. Till I read DR pepper. That's funny. That was a good one.

SGtRC I like your picture. I have it in biggger size. I was waiting for the honda lover dude to come back so I can show him but he is gone for good since he got banned.

Here is the picture in motion.

Maybe this going to bring him back. Sorry for a hijack.

Yea I ran into this couple of months ago and saved it for a good reason.

To be honest I have nothing against to Honda but seems like honda boys have against Infiniti. So I thought we can use it just to put some oil on the fire.

Don't feel too bad I spilled 16-oz of a Cafe Mocha on my seat. I was worried that the heater in my seat wouldn't work. I used a damp towel and dried up as much of it as I could. The heater worked though and after about a week of it smelling like chocolate it seemed to be just fine. I also used some leather conditioner once I got home too to kind of help get that stuff out of the leather.

I guess you don't need airfreshener in your car. Just spill a vanilla lathe and there is your vanilla airfreshener for a week.

It did smell kind of nice I will say. But I kept expecting something was going to go wrong and expensive but it didn't.

well. i went to eat at a Chinese food court and the soy bean drink came with the combo...i didn't wanna drink it so i just tossed it on my driver seat and went back to shopping..after i i was done shopping, i just rushed back to my car because someone was waiting for my spot anxiously and i totally forgot that there is a soybean drink on my driver seat.. so i just sat on it and SPLLLLLASH!!!!....well if anything.. i think Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, or whatever would do the same damage....

If it leaves an odor, I've heard good things about this stuff.

Please tell me you have a baby in the Family. I just pictured something else when I read your post you had baby wipes in your car.
