Nightshades or a similar product would work.

Quote »hey iwant to do this to my head ligths it is awesome. how did you do it.[/quote]Its window tint. With "clear shield" over top. The corner markers are spraypainted. I was friends with a guy that ran a tint shop. It was there "limo tint"

The engine bay was suposed to be the Toyota speedway blue. From the Tacoma's. But its not exact. The dark blue was just chosed out of a book. No clue if it was on any certain car.

Your welcome. At first I left the orange part of my markers. But now I intergrated and Amber 4-led 194 bulb into my bumper lights, so I did all of my markers black.

Sorry to break it to you, but you are. I guess you dont understand the difference between looking fast and actually being fast.

"riced"- clear taillights, an overly large spoiler, 'Fart cannon' tailpipe, non-functional hood scoop, body kit, despite having no performance modifications to the engine.

"JDM"- a style of modifying, or tuning automobiles, often agreed upon as inspired by motorsports, mainly cars of Japanese origin.Functionality is often preferred over cosmetics for greater performance. However, cosmetics may also be preferred, usually referred to as "clean."

Yes there are some similatities, but there are also some BIG differences... This car is being built to PERFORM... so there for it is NOT ricey. How the hell did you not see all the pics and take them as a obvious hint that this car is being built?!?!?! You must also have missed the part where this car is RHD.
Oh really? I must not understand.Analyze my car all you want, it has nothing but what it needs to go faster. Nothing more.Trust me, i've seen my share of riced cars, i know what rice is. It's doing stupid cosmetic things for the sake of being "cool." Like converting to RHD. What the hell does that have to do with "being prepared for auto-x/drift"? Also, stretching tires over rims like that is dumb. What's the point of getting wide wheels to put narrow tires on it? If you're really trying to race, you would put the widest tires on there you could. That being said, i don't like drifting. So maybe i'm biased.

But i know i'll always be wrong, because JDM cars are always fast. And furious. I guess i need a few more air ionizers from Sun Automotive. Or maybe a 3 million piece bodykit from Doluck. I forgot, JDM tyte is always right.Don't buy into it folks. Think for yourself."Dude, your car looks kinda rice.""No, it's JDM.""Oooooooh."

I understand where you're coming from, but calling the car "rice" is a bit off. I don't get the super-crazy stretch on the wheels or the RHD conversion and the body kit is ugly to me, but you can't discount all of the other work that's going into the car. The end goal of this car is to race; there's no doubt about that.

im sorry but i gotta disagree with some of what u said. no one said jdm is fast, he said HIS car is built to preform and be fast, and quite frankly im u have enough power, i dont think it really matters what it looks like. most importantly is that he likes it. its not ur car and we all realize u wouldnt build it like his, but thats ok

Your opinion is welcome, it’s the internet. One can not remove all morons. Maybe MY car is “rice” in your eyes, that’s why it’s MY car. I have the freedom of modification, with out explanation. But if one can not respect that, then if I feel it’s a reasonable request I may explain. I am not trying to be “cool” by anyone’s standard, I m assembling my car to my standards. I have had this car since 2004, before you new what a 240SX was.

I am not going to explain why I have done any of the work to my car that you don’t agree with. I will how ever point out your lack of knowledge.

“Also, stretching tires over rims like that is dumb. What's the point of getting wide wheels to put narrow tires on it? If you're really trying to race, you would put the widest tires on there you could.”

You are right, stretched tires do nothing for you. Increased sidewall strength, easier traction control (you can lose and regain traction easier.)

StrrreetttcchhhhStrrreetttcchhhh

Tires are stretched, if they are really trying to race, they would put the widest tire on there they could, correct?

Look at this truck of “rice cars.”

I do appreciate your contribution to my thread. But I don’t know how creditable any one is with “emo’ in there name.

I tactically found emo.

Well you certainly owned that guy! haha nice i like stretched tires i like everything you are doing to your car it looks really nice. I have always loved that look with that body kit and wheels that barely fit. Stretched tires are good i believe unless they are stretched to the point of being unsafe Which is almost how yours look i know you said you are not running them but at the same time they could be safe because there is alot less flex side to side with stretched tires then there is with normally fitting tires. Stretched tires ftw! and i love how clean your car looks Definitely one of the nicest builds ive seen in awhile I should do a writeup of my car nothing as fabricationaly complex as yours but more of an na type build.

Ive been working on it this go around for 15 months. Way to long.

But I guess its time for an update.

Had this Alpine IVA w200 layin around after getting rid of the Q45. So I put it in the 240.

Here is a close up of the fabric I used for the head liner, glovebox, door panels, shift boot, and a cover for the factory e brake.

The control center.

Cleaned up the compressor housing a bit. From this

Still needs some work but getting better.

Added some character to the worthless sqaure

Also picked up a Koyo, and mounted my powersteering cooler.

Weather broke so body work, and paint are coming SOON!!! Just waiting on injectors, fpr, and power fc d-jetro to all show up. Still waiting for my flanges to be finished so I can start the exhaust mani.

They are for a bunch stuff, fog lights, both line locks, fuel, other lights, and someother things Ill leave out, the push button is to the ecu ignition grounds; it will cut spark and shoot a flame out the tailpipe when pushed. Kinda like a on demand bee R rev limiter.
