Spent a few hours pulling apart my old motor, Cam Question

did not get too deep but pulled:injectors, throttle bodywhole upper intake (plenum)cams and sensorscoil packs and ignitorspower steering pump. etcmay pull the heads next weekend to see what went bad down low.

Has anyone reground their cams mild enough not to change lifter springs and stuff ???

Yes, have done 2 sets recently. Mine, which are extreme and will need new springs, shims and solid lifters and Leighs which will work with standard everything.Neither engine has run yet, so reluctant to recommend them until then.
