Spending Way To Much Money On Gas

Hi guys. I'm new to this but always look at this site for references. I have 06' G35x with a little over 200k on the engine. I recently change the plugs and air filter this Aug. I noticed maybe 2-3 weeks ago my Car has been drinking a lot of gas. I idle a lot because I like to relax in my car, but during idle I can see the needle move and driving I can see the needle move dramatically. I never notice the move before but now its catching my attention. I am putting atleatse $40 of gas in this car everyday. I am a local driver located in NYC and i do most of my work myself. I am not a Car brain-ac but I do know the basics about cars. can someone help me out??????

Please tell us how many miles of travel you get per gallon of gasoline purchase. You can use your trip odometer and the amount of gas purchased in gallons from your receipts to do the math. Let us know what you find your MPG to be and we'll try to help!

I haven't calculated it as of yet. I can start tomorrow. And give you the MPG
