I'm finally selling my S14 and I have about $3000 (possibly more with tax returns) to drop into my R33 GTS-T. It's going to be a summer car that I will drift with (if I have money for tires).

I already have cat-back (came with the car) and D2 coils (as well as wheels and some other non-performance nonsense).

Planned so far is:Front MountTurbo ElbowDPDecatProfec set to 12psiAluminum radiatorHicas lock out bar

According to most of the Skyline forums, that should bump me to around 300whp or so and still have good reliability and driveability.

So, that stuff should run me about $1200 (maybe a little more, depending on what deals I can get). What suggestions do you guys have for me?

A good boost gauge, some decent brake pads, fuel pump, injectors.

These are just ideas that came to mind right now.

Do you have bigger hp plans for the future? If so I would get some type of ecu if I were you. That would spend the leftover cash nice and fast but then you'd have to wait and save for a tune. I'm sure just knowing its sitting in there would make it feel faster for the time being Do you have any other suspension mods?

I don't really have any bigger HP plans until way later on. 12.5psi is supposedly the max for the stock turbo so 12psi will hold me until the turbo gives out. I'd rather wait and upgrade all that at once (turbo, manifold, engine management, fuel pump, injectors, etc). That will be on the next go around.

I've added boost gauge to my list. I'm seriously thinking 1.5 or 2way diff. Who has any suggestions as far as Tomei vs. Cusco vs. Kazz goes? 2way is probably what I'll pick (my 240 had a welded diff and it wasn't too bad normal driving). That would bring me down to about $800 left over after previously mentioned mods and diff.

And no, no other suspension mods.

I would highly reccomend getting some braking mods before going to drastic on the power. It's nice to have all that power, but if you need to stop in a hurry, you may not be able to depend on the stock system.

I have done just about all I want to do power wise with mine, and I am saving to get some good rotors and pads right now.

as for the q45 maf, do i need any type of controller to use it (like a safcII or emanage or ems)?

Isn't a J30 a VLSD? if thats the case, I already have a VLSD. Plus, depending on the year, the half-shafts would be different. I was looking for a 2way, like a kazz, cusco, tomei, nismo, etc... and as for street driving with a 2way, my S14 had a welded diff which is pretty much a 2way and i daily drove it like that for over a year, through heavy rain and such and it wasn't a problem.
