Spend 129$ + install and use 12% less fuel

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Wow by updating the navigation map I used 2 times last year I can save 12% on fuel and reduce my carbon emissions by 22%. The EPA should start using the same formula for calculating the EX's MPG ratings. That is the latest map update pitch from Nissan that showed up in the mail; printed on dead trees. Try reducing the update price by 3x and I might be interested. By not having any kids I have more carbon offsets than I can use already.

I actually use the map a lot in Boston and a reasonably priced update would be nice. Is it just a map update for $129 or does it include the speed limit etc info that the 2010 models have?

I can't get the speed limit info. to show on the map.

Is that dependent upon XM NavTraffic?

I'm still on the 90-day trial period so maybe some features don't work?

Ridiculous!!!!Didn't even want the nav on my EX. The nav on my FX tried to send me into the James river a few years ago!

Got a Garmin that includes traffic updates (sent me through Hackensack on the way to NY). Reliable and can be programmed in your living room instead of the car.
