SPeedometer/tach. gauge cluster

wasup guys... i got a 89 240sx and my speedometer is not working but the tach is ... and evyerhting else temp and gas... but yeah.. everything is plugged on the back of the cluster, but still not working... any ideas...heard something about a plug on the diff so i dunno where thats located.. so any Help would be great.. thanks

i've got the same problem, i have a digital gauge cluster though with the HUD and they work everyother time (said the previous owner) i checked the wiring and still no speedo...

is ur 240 turbo ?? or N/A...

My HUD and digital gauge isn't working either. It'll work sporadically when it feels like it. I haven't been able to trace down the problem.

the speed sensor on a manual is just behind the transmission support bracket

in the pic the sensors not in there just to show you location
