First you have to remove the panel below the steering wheel by your knees, then pull off the trim around the cluster and steering wheel that has all the buttons mounted on it. Its possible to do without removing the steering wheel, but is a huge pain in the ***. You may have to pull the whole gauge cluster out too, but I think you can get the clear plastic off with out doing that.

Ditto. I never removed the wheel, but it has to be removed oly one way. With the wheel al the way in the down position. Pull the trim as far out as possible, Then turn the trim counterclockwise from 3 - 9 oclock to 1 - 7. Your right hand being at 7. You will have to flex it ever so gently. this is the only wayy I have founsd to get it out. I didnt damage mine, be gentle. There is a moment where youll have to put siome strenght into it though. Good lyuck

it was never that hard for me. just drop the column.thats about 20 times easier than removing the steering wheel.

lower the steering wheel all the way down. take out the screws that you see on the inst. cover/ remove the cover and you will see 4 bolts that hold the gauge cluster in place take the proper steps to take those bolts out.(you may need to remove the little plastic pieces on each side of the steering wheel one will be your dimmer switch) and once the cluster is removed a screwdriver and gentle pulling pushing will release the clear plastic from the rest of the gauge cluster.

i meant to take loose the 2 bolts that hold the thing that looks like a driveshaft loop, remove that. then take loose the 2 bolts that hold the column.that will allow it to swing well clear of anything. makes it pretty easy to get the trim out from around the cluster.you won't have to worry about bending it up or wrecking it completely.

I never removed the steering wheel You act as if the bezel just pulls right out, it doesnt. You have to twist it a little. Like I described
