I have a 1989, 240 and it's the "Q" model (if it were indeed a Silvia haha.) Anyway, I say that because it has the digital speedometer. The problem is, the speedometer doesn't work in the cluster, or on the windshield. I can't find ANY online, and I hear they're a real b**** to get fixed. I have a good idea that it is the circuit board because it used to work when the car would warm up (this caused the copper to expand and get the current to the speedometer.) Now it has quit totally. Since I'm putting a new engine in it here within the next month, I'm not going to know how fast I'm going based on rpm's like I do now. Can anyone help?

what motor are you putting in?im assuming you have a ka24e right now?just swap to the analog cluster, check junkyards for digi clusters, or there is a right up in the articles section to fix common problems with digi clusters.

I'm putting an SR20DET in it. Me and my brother both have 240's and his has the analog cluster but I want mine to be different. For instance, he has triple projector headlights and I'm going to get double. So our stuff won't be the same. Thanks the suggestions though.
