My speedometer in my '07 98K reads wrong speeds after it has been sitting in the hot sun. Sometimes low, sometimes high, sometimes 5 mph off, sometimes 15mph. This is especially irritating in a high speed camera area.

The needle comes to rest at a certain amount too high or low, and that difference stays throughout the range; so showing 15mph when stopped means it will show 65 when going 50. Usually it shows too low...

Has anyone seen this? Any fixes without replacing the whole cluster?

Thanks -- Erwin

Hi, Tanin Auto Electronix here. We are vendors on the site and can offer some assistance on this since we work with Nissan Quests often. Is the speedo the only issue or is anything else going wrong with the cluster? If you want to give us a call today, that would be the fastest way to get you information on what repairs we offer and if they could help your speedo out. Our number is 262-456-4147.

We are looking forward to speaking with you about the car. Just let the reps know when you call that you spoke with us on the Forum here first. They will take great care of you!

Thanks,
