Hi, I have a SRswaped S13 and my speedometer recently stopped working correctly. Sometimes it will work fine and sometimes it will bounce around and the needle will stick at 85mph or pass 110. The car is a 1991 so it doesnt have the SOHC problem with the gauge cluster not working correctly with the SR swap. I was thinking it could be a speed sensor? If someone could give my some clues on how to fix it that would be great.

Cool, Do you know where the speed sensor is located exactly on the transmission?

Correct. Although it doesnt look like any of the other sensors. Looks kinda like a 2" diameter cylinder, maybe 1-1.5" high. Should be on the passenger side close the rear of the transmission.

TougeChallenger: I assume you have the stock usdm 5-speed, right?
