speedometer problem. really weird

Hey guys, like the title states I'm having a weird speedometer problem. I've seen where people have the problem with the speedo not working or working but going backwards. Well my speedo only works in reverse gear. My car is a 95 5speed also. All of the other gauges work. Has anyone had this problem or heard of someone having this problem?

Speed sensor perhaps? If all other gauges work, then trace the problem to the root. In this case will usually lead to that speed sensor in your transmission. Hope that helps!
