Speedometer/odometer not working

I have a 93 s13 and an s13 sr20detI have a SOHC speed sensor in the trans.

When I had a SOHC gauge cluster the speedo worked, but the tach didn'tNow the tach works and the speedo doesn't

Do I need the DOHC speed sensor to get it to work?Does anyone know which of the 6 wires at the dash connector is for the speedometer?
