Speedometer not working

I have a 1994 Pathfinder v6 SE 4x4 with no speedo. I replaced the VSS as thats what everyone says is the problem and still nothing. Any help would be great as I have no Idea what to do next. Is there a fuse or???? Thanks

Welcome to NICO!!Are you getting any power at all? Is the tach working, fuel, backlighting, etc?

The only non functioning items are the speedo and odometer. Im not possitive about the cruise control. (never tried it) The fuel temp and tach function normally. Any help would be great. I pulled the dash apart last night ..it looked OK but what do I know.

I own a 98 Infiniti QX4. I have been told that with my problem it is the gauge relay sensor. I purchased the part for $12 @ O' Reily's but now my husband and I can not figure out where it goes and the mechanic wants to charge us $300. :

Cable what? A 94 has an electronic sending unit for the speedo.

One semi-common problem is that the plastic gear that drives the VSS inside the t-case can strip out. After that, the VSS doesn't spin and you get no speedo action.
