speedometer not working

well i bought my 93, 240sx an the speedometer and before ya say it yes i did search this issue, tried a vaiety of things changed the instrument panel, checked wiring he tested the senor all good, i see nwhere someone said there was a plug that could come un done somewhere besides the one into the intrument panell but i cant find it nowehere can someone ok here thanks alot

Well all you really told us is your speedometer isn't working. First off, do you have a needle gauge for the speedo? Second, do you have dash lights? If only your speedo doesn't work, make sure it's hooked up on the side of your transmission. If you dash lights are out, either its a fuse or the harness behind the cluster has come loose.

its hooked up on the side of the transmission, i have dash lights , it is a needle gauge, and i checked the plug behind the dash and its in there snugly so im at a total loss here

Pull the codes from the ECU: if there's a code for speed sensor signal, then there's a problem w/the harness between the transmission and ECU. If not, then it's between transmission and gauges(or the gauges themselves).
