Speedometer not working 91 300zx Na
Okay, so my odometer and speedo stopped working so i assumed it was the vehicle speed sensor, so naturally i swapped it out only to find out it didn't do s***. Any idea what it may be??

Not necessarily the wiring, but would rule that out.
Z's gauge clusters are known to fail or not work properly. Mainly due to the solder joints on the circuit board being broken. Sometimes the driver goes out, but normally it is something to due to the joints. The fix is either sending it to someone that can repair the issue or replacing it with a different unit. Sometimes its cheaper to just replace it, just the downfall is it may have the same issue down the road cause basically all are used or 20+yrs old.
If you go on Twinturbo.net, go under classifieds and look for dvdburn, he is known to fix these at a relative decent price. You may want to test the wiring to make sure that isnt the issue, as wires get brittle and do break, corrode, connectors get filled with oil and road grime, all this will cause it not to work. Make sure you also got the correct speed sensor. autos and manuals are different length wise, but will fit in the hole just the same.
