speedometer inop. after dohc 5spd swap in S13

89 240sx swaped to 95 ka24de and 5spd, with all 92 electrical.Before i left it at the shop for the swap, i changed the gauge cluster to a dohc cluster, but i kept my Sohc speedo, witch worked at the time.Now the swap is done, and its not working at all, every thing els in the cluster is working. the shop told me i need the sohc speedo back in, and that they never heard of being able to opperate the sohc speedo in dohc cluster.Was i wrong to put it in there or are they wrong about the spedo issue?OR could it possibly be the speed sensor that came with the new 95 transmission....?

is the speedo not moving at all or is it reading about half of actual speed?

you need the s13 speed sensor on the transmission. 95 ka24de have a different sensor

im thinkin they didnt put in the s13 speed sensor tha i gave them..
