speedometer help

My speedometer only worked for a couple of days after getting the car and it does not work at all now. The speed sensor was bad so i replaced it and also changed the cluster, checked some of the wiring but was wondering what could be wrong and if the cruise control would have to do with it?

cruise control won't affect the speedo working.

You probably have a wiring issue, or a bad gauge. Have you tried getting a new cluster?

I checked some of the wiring and there was 2 bare wires so i put tape but still did not work, until today it was raining so i went for a ride and all of a sudden i looked and it was working, it was fine for a while but then it quit again. does anybody have a wiring diagram?
