i have a 95 240sx and i performed a transmission swap on it, but whenever i hook up the speed sensor it reads way off. It reads about 60 miles faster than the speed i really am traveling. Is it off because i haven't hooked up the neutral and 5th gear sensor? any help is appreciated thanks

also i already have tried buying a new speed sensor it didn't help.

did the car originally come with a 5speed? the instrument cluster must match the sensor.

ok, assuming you have the stock size tires and stock rearend etc. you should check the continuity across the wires from the speedo sensor to the speedo head. if thats good, you have a bad speedo head.
