Speedometer help please?

Ok, i've been searching and i'm going to continue searching but in the mean time im gonna ask you guys.

I have a 91 with an s14 SR, What all do I need to make it work? Do I need a dual cam speed sensor?

what wires do you have hooked up on the trans? Also the wires need to be hooked up from the ecu to the harness up in the passenger kick pannel way up in there.

I used to have 90 hatch with s13 sr20det with a KAE speed sensor and the speedo worked and the tach didn't.

Now I have the same sr20det with KAE sensor in a 93 KADE shell and the tach works, but not the speedo.So I'm assuming I need the KADE speed sensor to make both the tach and speedo work

Speed sensor has nothing to do with the tach signal. That's drawn from the CAS and you need a DOHC tachometer to read the signal properly.

As for the speed sensor, you just need one that matches your chassis.

If you were replying to my post about needing the speed sensor to get the tach and speedometer to work, I meant I needed the sensor to only get the speedometer to work

As mentioned above, all you have to do is use an S13 Speed sensor. The speedo should work fine.
