Speedometer help please, s13 rb20

After installing the rb20 in my s13 hicas car, the speedometer is not working. This rb20 came out of my previous s13 without hicas if that matters and the speedometer worked just fine, so I know the wiring for the cluster is right. The tac is working properly as well. Could I simply be overlooking a plug? Where is the exact plug location for the speedometer?

My buddies speedometer is not working in his 25 so maybe we can kill two birds with one stone here

Not really a hard thing man if you wired it in properly...then check the plugs.

Thats the problem, I am not the one that wired it. 3 years ago a local shop did the wiring in my old s13. That car was wrecked, so we pulled everything out and put it in my new s13, same wiring harness and all. The speedometer worked previously, now it isnt. Where is the speed sensor plug located? Maybe it came unplugged, just dont know where to look.

Speedo sensor plug is on the transmission man.

Correct me if im wrong but I belive the RB20 has the same speed sensor as the KA so it should wire up and work fine. On the other hand with the rb25, its not that easy, Ive still yet to get my rb25 speedo working, I havent tried fixing it yet but simply just wiring to the 25 sensor, it does not work properly.

I have an SR plug on my car, but I KA one would work fine as well.

Correct me if im wrong but I belive the RB20 has the same speed sensor as the KA so it should wire up and work fine. On the other hand with the rb25, its not that easy, Ive still yet to get my rb25 speedo working, I havent tried fixing it yet but simply just wiring to the 25 sensor, it does not work properly.

rb20 has a cable driven speed sensor...I know the s14's have electric pretty sure s13's do as well,hence what you have to do is replace the rb speed sensor with the 240'sx speed sensor.
