So I put some 31x10.50's on my truck, and now the speedo is happy. Happy meaning when I'm going 60 on the speedo, I'm really going about 67 (according to the gps).

So, is there a way to put another speedometer gear in the transmission and get the speedo right? Like say get one from a truck that had 3.73 gears and put it into mine (4.10's fwiw)?

Hey... and I have a Z24 weber carb adapter I don't need anymore if someone wants to take it off my hands for $25 shipped to lower 48.

Thanks!

yea, so far haven't found any solutions to this.

Was kind of thinking they might be like the old GM's and Fords where you can install a different speedometer drive gear in the tailsection... no such luck so far. I can live with it, but was just kind of wondering...

Thnx!

I know the Z cars had a bunch of different differential end ratio gears you could get, and they all had matching color coded plastic gears for the speedometer to get the right speedo calibration.
