A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Has any one ever replaced one on the B13's? My SE-R doesn't register any speed. I checked the connection to the transmission a couple times, then discovered that I can pull the whole inner cable out of the protective tubing.

My Haynes doesn't give any instructions on how to replace the damn thing. Which is always nice.

Anybody done it before? Tips? Tricks? Better to have a proper mechanic do it?

Unscrew it from the the transmission first. This provides easier access to the back of the gauge cluster when you pull it out so you can unhook the cable from there. Then its reverse order.
