anyone got a place to order these online for a decently low price?? i have to try and get a speedometer working in my car. i swapped a sr20det into a cressida. of course the cressida is cable driven while the sr trans is electric. but the s12 cable will work on the sr trans. so i just need one to see if it will work on the back of the cressida speedometer also.

If the S12 cable is long enough you only need to swap/modify the speedo drive mechanism in the gearbox.

Get a speedo cable from a Datsun 180B/200B/Bluebird (610/810/910).Also get the mechanical speedo drive from the gearbox. You might need to cut a slot in the speedo drive so you can fit it in with the correct gear mesh. This is assuming the Cressida speedo has the same mechanical connection as the Datsuns.

This is very common operation in Datsun transplant circles.

My old man runs a SR20det in his AE86 Sprinter, so it's got to be possible.
