as you all know, I'm using 215/70R/15 96V all season tires that have a good warranty. now how am I suppose to calibrate the Speedometer? has the tire size affected the Casters too? and I was looking at old T3 records I had and it said my 94 needed valve cover gaskets, oil pressure switch, trans mount, turbine sensor, rack boots, and tension rods back in 03 before the 6 year slumber, most of all that was changed except for the turbine sensor and valve cover gaskets, I'm changing the valve cover gaskets as I type this, but can anyone give me any info on the turbine sensor.

The difference between a 215/65/15 and 215/70/15 is about 3%, or you'll be going 62 MPH when the speedo reads 60. Hardly worth worrying about, realistically speedometer in the Q is not that accurate, so that's probably within the acceptable error. Tire size that negligible shouldn't affect your alignment enough to matter....

Turbine sensor is a pain, usually they only need replaced because they're leaking. If the trans is shifting fine and it's leaking trans fluid minimally, probably not worth messing with.

The Beast of 94 just got into an accident from behind with a hit and run diver, all caught on traffic cam, thank god because I have 3rd party insurance, i'm sup prized the bumper was in perfect condition body wise :werd: , the shock must have caused the paint to come off as there are small black dots exposing the primer were it got hit, and not messed up at all, the licence plate is smashed up, and *crying, sniffing*, the exhaust tips are pushed back towards the front of the car about a foot and a half, bending the exhaust pipes. oh and I haven't detected any trans oil leak, but it does shift hard from first to second gear. and its SUPER WEIRD, I don't have active suspension but whenever I put it in reverse or any of the "D" gears, the car drops 2-3 inches in height, and I put it in park or neutral, it raises its self back up, :wtf2: :frown: :frown: it was on the T3 service record so I'm sure it needs a new turbine sensor, I'm probably most definitely will get a full diagnostics of my Q at the dealership right down the street from my house, is it safe to drive less than half a mile with bent exhaust pipes which created a narrow passage way for exhaust gasses?

The "crouching" in gear sounds normal to me.

You need to get your Q up on a rack to see what damage was done. Bending those exhaust pipes indicates you took a decent hit.

thanks for the advice, I'll take it to the dealer and get a full deep diagnostics of my Q after I get the official police report which takes 4-5 days, the entire rear suspension is shot, I push down on the trunk to check and It bounced forward, then looped up, then down, and had the bounce consistency of a basket ball, exhaust is bent in multiple places, some bushings are completely torn, which was on the sides of the big rectangle right before the exhaust tips and a few other places. and shouldn't the turbine sensor be located in section AT of the manual?

Be specific that they carefully inspect the rear subframe and bushings,a part generally damaged in rear end hits, and expensive to replace.

I think your car is probably technically "totaled."

I would put some thought in to buying it back with a salvage title vs. moving on. :(

but I was able to drive it home fine, no exhaust blockage, with the shot suspension.

the bumper is not even broken or cracked or deformed, its completely intact and normal, just needs a new paint job, sub frame should be fine, the accident just pushed the exhaust inward, and the bushings were gonna get ripped when pushed forward, but there's absolutely no exhaust blockage.

I got it checked out at the dealership, the police report was taking too long, everything after the cats needs to be replaced, EVERYTHING related to the exhaust system like gaskets, bolts, clamps, bushings. paid 130 for the inspection

parts + labor = $4,598 just labor = $520

So the exhaust estimate is $4500? I do exhaust, let me say there is no reason to retain the factory stuff in this case!
Take it someplace like midas or better yet some independent little guy, let them do it their way (skip all the nut/bolt extras and let them weld & twist) save $4000

Magnaflow mufflers with a X pipe really sound good on my q45 engine swap.

I'm going with straight pipes for now, but the teen underage drunk girl that hit my Q and ran and was caught by the traffic cams is going to pay for the OEM exhaust system with all 4 suspension and a rear bumper paint job with a new OEM rear differential with some extra dough in compensation because I had my mid 60 year old mother in the passenger seat who got hurt. will post pictures of damaged exhaust, and a video clip with the straight pipes, transmission does feel "jumpy" when accelerating and sometimes feels like it's accelerating like a turtle, like in 1st gear I have to take it all the way up to 4000 rpm's to hit 20 mph, so probably I will have the transmission rebuilt which takes care of the turbine sensor problem (darn, I was looking forward to doing that) all repairs will be done by the dealership except for the paint job.

Her insurance company will pay the lesser of either cars cash value, or the needed repairs- in this case, most likely the cars book value.
