speedometer and engine temp not working????????????????????

so i put one of the aftermarket gauges on my car and i took off the needles and put the face on and now for some reason only my R.P.M. and gas works! why not the others?

is there a special way of putting these needles or some kinda trick to making them work again?

a friend said it was stupid that i took the needles off? why? how do i fix it?

one soloution i got was to follow someone with cruis control and plug the needle back in when im crusing the same speed! WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

any kinda help please, i think this will be the start of ALOT AND I MEAN ALOT OF SPEEDING TICKETS!

You need to put the needles back on right. Also, just about nothing will work right at this point, since your little nubs that control the needle will have a default position of straight down.

so the remedy is to buy a new gauge? cant fix this hu? what do you mean put the needles back on right?? cuz thats what ive been trying to do!
