speedo troubles

i have read into the problem and no one has quite the same symptoms , my speedo doesnt work , works just fine and them flips to top out but doesnt run backwards as some have complained about ,all of this is a day to day difference . any ideas ?

maybe i didnt mentoin i have a rb20 swap wiring specalties upper and lower harness and a new speed sensor all the wiring is good to ecu and fuse box i have yet to pull dash or cluster where is the ground located and could that be my problem , or what is a good way to test my cluster

so did it work with the RB or is this result of the swap?

like i said it works sometimes ( gps even confirmed speed ,that and iphone app is how i get away with it cause i live in a speed trap) sometimes its just dead or it maxes out and dont move . the rb has a new speed sensor from ka and i have a good rb one too
