My analog speedo doesn't work. I have put 3, yes 3 different clusters in it and still the same result. So I don't think there is a problem in the cluster. HOWEVER i know it's not the speed sensor, it's putting out voltage and i DO hit the speedlimiter, I've hit it several times in a row just to make sure. I have continuity from the sensor to the dash so i was thinking it could be the ground. But the problem is, i don't know which wire is the speedo ground. Does anyone know what wire colors are te ground(s) for the gauge cluster? I'm going to triple check all my wiring in a few days and i just want to check the grounds too.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

unfortunately i do not have a diagram for the 89 and 90 models. i wish i could say that grounds are all black but they are not. sorry. you can bypass the signal wiring to check that. just run a wire from the sensor to the speedo head and see if it works. for the ground we will need to find a diagram.
