My analog speedo doesn't work. I have put 3, yes 3 different clusters in it and still the same result. HOWEVER i know it's not the speed sensor, it's putting out voltage and i DO hit the speedlimiter, I've hit it several times in a row just to make sure. I have continuity from the sensor to the dash so i was thinking it could be the ground. But the problem is, i don't know which wire is the speedo ground.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you will hit the speed cut way too soon if your speedo isnt working right. Also, you may have continuity but it still might not work. Check out put with a multimeter and AC Volts. With the multimeter hooked up drive the car or just spin the sensor. If you get output its good.

also just check a FSM for info on the ground. It probably isnt the ground though. Gauge clutsters have like 4 grounds. Its not common that all 4 grounds would be bad. Im not sure the speed sensor is grounded either. Someone with an FSM would have to answer that one...

yeah, i have checked it and it was putting out AC voltage that chanked as the speed changed. I'm just kinda lost because i don't think 3 different gauge clusters would be bad. I know the sensor is good. I guess i'll just triple check my wiring.
