I have been having speedo problem for a while now. I replaced the Gauge Cluster, and Speed Sensor, but I still have problems. It currently either stays at 0mph when I am driving, gets pegged at the other end, or responds normally. When it is stuck at 0mph, the Odometer and Tripometer don’t move, however they do move when the speedo is reading normal speed, which is about 10% of the time.

I am sure it is either the Gauge Cluster or the Speed Sensor, but I want to be sure of which one is the problem before I go out and buy new parts. Any suggestions?

I would think dirty terminal connections at the VSS or underside. Try cleaning contact and harness connectors. When for voltage to the TPS too.

you said you replaced both cluster and sensor....now you want to know which one it is so you can swap it again? clean your speed sensor plug, check the wiring/track it to look for shorts, then try swapping sensors with someone else, easy to swap, to troubleshoot.
