ya i have searched, but the problem i am coming across is that i can't remember if the speedo would show faster or slower if my tires are wrong.the car is a 93 se (that i purchased three weeks ago...yay!) and there currently are 195/60/15, i hear that 205 is an option, does that mean that the se model should come with them? would that small of a difference make the speedo say 2 miles an hour faster than i am going? i am sure of the difference cause there are plenty of those radars cops place by me (ya know the ones that tell you how fast your going), and i don't think they would tell you that you're going slower than you really are... that would definetely not be cooli need to know cause in the near future i want to purchase new wheels and tires; and this knowlege would very much so help keep my car at it's closest wheel diameterthx all

I have seen those radar signs off by as much as 10 mph. Most that I see seem to be off by 4 or 5. The speedo in my s13 happens to read about 3.5 mph high at highway speeds. My civic reads 5 high at highway speeds. The point is that few things are perfect. Larger tires will make your speedo read lower; smaller tires will make your speedo read higher. I couldn't tell you what kind of size change would make a significant difference.
