Speedo issue

Okay NICO friends. Just picked up my 96 g50 in NY, NY. Im planning on driving it to Louisiana. About 700 miles into my trip. My speedo stopped working along with my cruise. Control. Also my Check engine light has come on. The car seems to be driving fine. Before the speedo went out. My tach was fluctuating whenever I pushed the car. Then quickly it returned back to normal. Any ideas what's going on. You think I can still drive the car? Any help would be much appreciate
Btw. If I don't look at my instrument cluster. I would never know anything was wrong

Based on all your different threads dexcribing problems with your Q with only 66,000 miles on it, I would suspect the odometer has been turned back or swapped with a lower mile reading one than the actual true miles on car.....too many issues for a 66,000 mile original 96Q to have.

You may be right. But a lot of the other questions have been about my 92 active too. Ironically, they're both having similar issues. Go figure?

Did you get a Car Fax or the Infiniti Service History?

Never trust carfax.....I traded my G20 in with 149,000 miles to the Infiniti dealer when I bought my Q, later punched in the G20 Vin with Carfax.......and it showed the mileage as 49,000.......somewhere along the line, some wholesaler,dealer,or auction house removed 100,000 miles from the odometer before reselling it!
