My speedometer frequently seems to be in cahoots with the rpms of the engine. In other words, I can be sitting still, rev the engine and the speedo goes up with the tach. Or while I am driving I can be going 40mph and the speedo says 65mph! And then there are times that it appears to be accurate. I am lost! Any ideas?

lol that's a pretty crazy issue. Did this start happening recently? If it was recently, did you tinker with anything in the proximity of the transmission, or the instrument cluster?

It has been going on for a while now. I actually just replaced the clutch and it still does it. I have lived with it for several months now, but I was just curious if anyone out there had the same issue or knew what it could be.
