okay so i swapped the dohc cluster in place of the 89 sohc digi cluster...

Now the tach works (which is great)

but speedo does not

is there a simple way to run speed signal to the speedo...because the speed goes to 40mph and stays there...i think some how its confused with the fuel level because i pushed the fuel level down to half tank and it stayed there until the fuel level climbed back up again....

i understand that the signal wire for the speedo is the pin 32 the yellow and green wire...can i just run a wire straight from there to one of the pins in the dash sub harness? or is there other wires i have to run also...like a ground and the yellow and green wire?

or is there a way to test the speedo in the trans to see if that is the problem?

how much is a new speedo

i swapped a ca18det gears into the trans so would i need a ca18 speedo?

got a fix it ticket by feb 1st because of my speedo!!

If I recall the yellow/green wire is not the signal wire from the speed sensor, but a wire that goes from the cluster to the ECU. The speed sensor wires are highlighted light blue in this wiring diagram meant for the non-HUD cluster.
