speedo calibration?

over the weekend i installed a vlsd, and now the speedo is reading about 10mph faster than im actually going. any ideas of why its doing that? oh and could i recalibrate it....or does this sound like a vss problem???

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!

If the gear ratio in the rear diff gears are different than the stock then that would explain the difference between actual to read speed.

If the gear ratio is different then you will want to compensate for it, but I don't know how to do that.

you could calibrate it with an SGI from dakotadigital.com i used one to correct my sppedo after the S15 diff install. i was reading 100mph in first gear at idle.:eek:
