SPEEDO AND TACH PROBLEM

when i got my car out of the shop my speedo and tach didnt work. well since it cost me an arm and a leg at the shop i havent been able to put it back in.

they keep telling me to get my speedo and tach to work i need something from an sr20 tach and my rb20 tach plus i need to give em 700 bucks to get it all in.

can i do this myself or do i need to come up with 700 dollars, an rb gauge cluster, and an sr20 gauge cluster?

please help guys

if you are looking for plug and play, ls auto sells the speedo and tach for the s13 cluster that will work with the rb. i know they have it for the rb25, but not sure bout the rb20, you can check at http://www.lsauto.com

i really just need to know if i really need that stuff or if i can do it with the existing wires

I had lsauto modify mine for 200, that included a sr20 tach reworked for the 6cyl and a 180mph speedo.

Havent been able to test it out, tach seems to work fine when the car "tries" to idle.
