I know Dino from over there. He's the guy that organizes our monthly GT-R meets. He's cool as hell and takes some great photos and has done some really great articles for that site.

Visiting speedhunters involves a lot of scrolling to find a story I'm interested in. When that story comes, the photography is usually amazing. I don't hate the site, it entertains me.

I do hate a lot of the commenters.

This is my point. Just bored at work, cruising the normal auto blogs and every f*** time I read the commenters on Speedhunters it's like getting hit in the face with a large, foul-smelling stupid hammer.

Also, I find coverage of big drift events boring... Same courses, same cars, same drivers over and over ad nauseum. I'd rather see more grassroots events getting covered because they do tend to feature some great photographers. And I have an irrational dislike of anything from the UK for some reason. And seeing car features from AU and NZ of perfectly nice classic Japanese cars getting 17"+ wheels and wacky paintjobs.

And the thing that tipped me over the edge, a feature on this really rad old school wagon with some okay pics... but the depth of the info stopped at the description and explanation of the trendy appearance-related mods and accessories. There was clearly some strange magic happening with the suspension that was not even mentioned in passing.
