I accidentally bought a 95-98 20t speedo pinion. I have a 92 240sx though, I'm replacing the speedo sensor anyhow, and it will be faster for me to exchange the 92 speed sensor with a 98 sensor than to get the correct pinion. My question is, will a 98 speed sensor work in a 92 240sx transmission?

Thanks

back to work for me, I'll check back later.

thats horrible advice. i personally don't know so i'm not gonna tell you to do it

however, in changing from S13 to S14 i know things like the coolant temperature sensor doesn't work. infact i think when you are over-heating the S14 one reads its at temp. because on a non-overheating car this never-ever worked, but since they all look the same i may have switched them up, but im almost positive i didnt

best advice is to download a copy of Nissan Fast from http://www.phatG20.com or .net or .org (can't remember right now) you have to register but there are all kinds of goodies for free over there. But you can look up the S14 part numbers and compare them to the S13 one. if i weren't at school i'd do her up for ya. but its always nice to have a copy of FAST
