Car, motor? My speed sensor didn't work even though I had it wired correctly through the plugs, so I ended up hard wiring it directly from the gauge to the speed sensor.

it's a s13 coupe with a s13 blacktop, the car was and auto to manual swap before. How would i hard wire the speed sensor to the gauge? i'm not very good at that stuff to be honest.. thanks for the quick response too

I had the same problem when I swapped in my S13 blacktop into my auto to manual conversion.

The lower harness for the auto is different than the manual lower harness. The manual uses a different plug where the body harness connects to the lower harness.

What I ended up doing was using my auto harness. You'll need to extend the ground wire going to the starter. I'll post some pics here in a second.
