how does one disconnect the bypass the speed sensor on the sr20 ecu

There is a wire that leads from the transmission to the Ecu that you can cut and run a toggle switch on so when you are running at speeds higher than allowed by the ECu, you can cut it off. Normal driving you can leave it on. I suggest you call JWT to get the exact wire color.
