Speed sensor

Hi. I have a S13 speed sensor in my transmission right now but I need to put in the S14 speed sensor to match my speedo. I was wondering if I change to the S14 speed sensor, do I also need to change the pinion gear? Or are they the same part for both sensors? Thanks.

Here is the part number for the S14 pinion gear that goes on the speed sensor...

32743-71T20 (it's red and has 20 teeth i believe)

25010-71T00 -> part # for the spd sensor.

If the part num for S13 is the same then I guess you could use that...

Hey how do I get my speedometer to work I've checked the speed sensor and it is reading 0.5 ac when i spin it fast and also at the end of the wire connections. can somone please tell me what to do or what is wrong with it.

do you know what i can do to get my speedometer to work. It moves but it moves very slow and then it goes back down very so, I don't think it is the sensor speed sensor that is.
