I purchased a new speed sensor for a 95 240SX SE 5 speed manual trans. Needed help, when I pulled the speed sensor out. The fluid inside flow out of the section where the speed sensor go in. What kind of fluid is that? And do I insert the fluid on the same place where the speed sensor go in?

I'm not 100% sure as to where the location of the speed sensor is as I've never changed one, but you are going to need GL-4 gear oil, and there is a fill hole on the side of the transmission. You'll have to remove the plug, and put fluid in it until it seeps out of the fill hole.

How much fluid did you lose?
