speed sensor

K, alot of confusion here, i have rb25 with what i believe is rb 20 transmission. I bought a ka24 speed sensor for the rb20 transmission, and it dosnt fit, its too big around to fit into the transmission. Thinking i may have automatic sensor. My Qestion is: when you compare ka24 auto and manual speed sensors together, whats the difference???????? Thanks for the help!

are you sure its an rb20 transmission?? cause i know the ka speed sensor will not work rb25 trans.

IIRC, the auto VSS does not fit the manual trans in the s13, i tried it before, then realized i needed to get a manual VSS/speed sensor

the gear's on the auto vss is pink/orange and red on the manual, but yes, ka24de vss is supposed to work on the rb20 trans

yea i know the ka vss is suppose to fit in the ka transmission cause there identical but the ka vss will not work on the rb25 trans, thats why i was asking if your sure its an rb20 trans
